sorry to keep posting up in this thread about the mystery cop cars. They're out of their minds if they think they're worth anything.
don't feel bad. i could talk cop cars all day if i could. i've only known of one other currently existing A38 Lebaron. it's somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. there were two others that were scrapped recently.

one in Ohio and the other a sad story.
the NYPD keeps officer death cars on a lot (heard of the Eddie Byrne car?). an 81 Lebaron sat on their lot for around 30 years before being scrapped around 2011.

NYPD currently has a Lebaron police car clone as a museum car. but you can tell it isn't real by the infamous window sill trim. otherwise an amazing clone. likely used parts from RMP 1012

I really enjoy seeing the pics and info on the police/taxi cars because there is so much to learn. I used to be a bit disillusioned that police/taxi parts made our cars into super cars but then looking at the department reports of the maintenance and failure rates of parts. And really how many of us actually have hurt oem std. parts since most dont beat there cars like Rosco chasing the Duke boys? At least for the Fs many of the std parts on sedans are listed as HD parts on the coupes and interestingly the higher end F sedans that have the options that add weight seem to of gotten more of the HD coupe parts.

But I still find it fun to hunt them and use them since I like oem type parts or at least look eom.
