1998 Dodge Viper | eBay From eBay = 1998 Viper – Low Mileage.

I suspect the fiberglass might buff out.

That car may have been rolled over. Its not a front end collision, as the passenger door is also gone/damaged, and even the rear wheel looks like it is bent/misaligned/ It could be it got sandwiched front and rear, I guess.

I would assume as much. Either way, it appears speed was also a (possible) factor.
The big selling point here is "Low Mileage". It looks to me about the main salvageable item is the powertrain (and/or VIN/paperwork). Still, $17k is more pocket change than I have.
I don't see this chassis being on the road (under its own power) again.

Did you happen to read the Experian Autocheck sheet? It lists "ACCIDENTS: 1, No air bag deployed". Huh???????????????????

In the vehicle description it has Accidents: Minor issue. Minor? Hate to see what a MAJOR issue is, lol!

What I see is a hood skin busted free along with the door skin, it looks like it was hit in the rocker area.
Back in the mid 90s a doctors wife hit a car load of kids in a Ford Fairmount 4 door. She hit the Ford in the Lt quarter panel hard enough to ripp the car in two parts, just in front of the back seat and at the top of both quarters. The Dodge was bought by one of the shops that bid on it and was repaired with in six months. Parts availability being the thing that slowed down the process. There tougher than you'd think.
All the kids were ok the ones that were in the back seat got thrown out on the street if I remember correctly one had his seat belt on.

That viper seems a little pricey for something that really only good for the drivetrain. You can get low mileage viper drivetrains for 6500 off of ebay.

Scored a sweet NOS license plate frame; complete with install instructions. Once I saw the instructions I couldn’t pass it up...but now, I don’t really want to put it in my car, lol. It’s too nice.

What do you all do for work? I’m an equipment mechanic for one of the oldest and largest leather tanneries in the US. One thing we make (aside from the worlds finest Shell Cordovan; horse ass leather) is The Wilson/NFL official football leather and tack. The leather itself is actually tanned in tack to give it the grip that’s demanded by professional athletes in the NFL.
We ship the finished half hides to, Wilson over in Ada, Ohio where they then turn it into footballs.

I do Die set up where I work. I'm not allowed to go into where I work, work doesn't permit that. Considers it " industrial espionage ", lol. Current running 2nd shift fabrication dept. It's okay. For now I get the weekends off. Btw, We are a major lawn equipment manufacturer.
