This was the second. Was donated to an auto shop program. No one seems to know what happened or if it survived after that.

Here’s an article from 2012 for anyone interested.

They mention, it’s rumored Carol Shelby had something to do with them being scrapped to make less competition for his Shelby Daytona, but just hearsay.

An old mechanic saw the picture and commented, he worked on the white car in ‘93 and ‘94. It was purchased by a retired employee from the Belvidere, IL plant; but that doesn’t seem to be the gentleman in the photo…that would also shelve the rumor that Carol Shelby had disappeared them into his garage/storage.

This is the result of Chrysler spending too much time doing lines of coke in France in the 80's....

Still a cool car though

You need them that big to shove the ranch truck out of the way.
Otherwise, you run your bumper up under the a$$end of that pickup and get
it locked together.

Only thing as clean and white were his New Balance tennis shoes and his fresh Fruit of the Loom white t-shirt…it’s been a while since I’ve seen a Mopar actually on the road (aside the regular offenders in their Chargers/challengers and 300s) oh well.

Actually this is the last time I actually saw one running and driving around town. Just about 5 years ago, 2019.
