Used to be one of my favorite things to do: just get the 5A and drive. Usually in the dead of night around 2am in the middle of the summer. Windows down and radio up. Need to get back to that.

Some garage news. A number of years ago I found a set of stainless A/F/J/M headers on eBay for $120. 1 3/4" or 1 7/8" primary tubes, can't remember, but it's bigger than the standard 1 5/8". Then Dad moved, built a barn and retired. Things are settled down now and projects are moving forward. He just put them in this week and I shot a quick video of the car running open headers. 408 sounds good.

$250 with free shipping from Texas. Considering the Firm Feel run of these was twice that per bar and had none of the brackets included, I think that's a fair price. Not a stellar price, but reasonable

As a comparison, the new one I got from the dealer around 2004 or so, was $425. List may have been more. I had the parts dept at the Ford dealer I worked at order it. So cost plus 10%. By that time only one side was still available or I'd have gotten both sides, wallet lightening as it would have been.
