This has nothing to do with cars but, if you've got some spare time it's kind of a cool video. Wisconsin Public Television recorded it in September of 2013 and it aired first towards the end of 2014. I think they did a darn good job. It was recorded with one of those mega buck gyro stabilized HD camera set-ups on a helicopter. Even if you could care less about Wisconsin, still worth watching (IMO). I've lived in this state since 1976 and saw a lot of stuff I never knew existed. If you can figure out a way to play it in HD, the picture quality is awesome. With my crap DSL it doesn't work but on TV it was perfectly clear.
btw, part of the Rib Mt./Wausau area where I live is shown around the 10:45 mark. They missed 80% of the city though.
Still can't believe how much the car in the video looks like my first car I bought when I was 17 (way, way back in 1981), right down to the fender flares, fat tires and wheels. Mine was Gran Coupe, 383, 4-speed, Sure-Grip and manual steering with 4 wheel manual drum brakes, both of which SUCKED, lol!
Thought this was funny, in a weird sort of way. Shoot out thing on the west side a couple nights ago. Watch later on when the reporter tries to interview the bar owner and get his side of the story. The owner sure is quite the public relations guru, isn't he? IMO, the guy looks like an arrogant, hate the world, loser to me. Another reason I never go into the inner city areas of Wausau.
Feel like I need a cigarette after watching (hearing) these things, lol. DANG!
Couple years ago I went over to Tomah where they have pulls like this. A video has nothing on being there in person though.
