.0045'' top gap? and only .005'' for 2nd? bore size X the .0045'' and .005''?
Sorry, I of course meant 'per inch of bore size' given that folks can have varying bore sizes.

For me that ended up being 0.018" for top ring, and 0.020" for the second ring.

that's what i thought but wanted to make sure. i have Dykes rings so that might be different gaps then standard or gapless?

Waiting for a friend to get back from holidays. He has a set of 1.75 ratio rockers I want to try.

New slicks for the 2024 race season.

Today might be the day to fire up the 416” on the run stand. If everything goes well it’s off to the dyno

The old blue beater is ready to make noise. The weather is not cooperating today to fire up the 416” so i decided to get my car ready.

"Mission Accomplished", eh? Nice...

Yeah, weather is a bit crappy here today too...I had muscled in my 1" rear sway bar earlier on in the week (to replace the 3/4" piece that was in there), and decided to set up the geometry a little better, meaning: end-links and bar at 90deg. angle.

Went shopping for a replacement bolt (what I already had in my Coupe was aftermarket with poly bushings), turns out I need 10" length and good luck finding anyone around that carries that.

So given that the longer bolt wasn't an option I just decided to eek out as much as I could out of the existing setup, just needed to get longer sleeves that separate out the upper and lower sway bar bushings...so while I managed to prime them yesterday, the rain today hasn't helped!

LOL...best to you, would love to hear that thing "sing" in-person though!!! What a ride...

this week the weather is looking crappy so i won't fire up. the weekend is looking better.

May 11 is the first test and tune, weather permitting. i have to go over my car as i rewired the entire car last fall and haven't checked to see if it all works. time is running out.

Windsor to my place is only 2500 km's, not to far and you can hear it in person lol

It's always satisfying when it works that way, isn't it?
Ya it sure is. One step out of the way. I’ll test the trans brake and air shifter this weekend. Rewired the car last fall and never tested to see if it anything worked. Ran out of time

Thank you!...I was contemplating heading out into the garage to install my FF t-bars, but you know, today being Saturday, all the house catch-up tasks take priority, etc., etc....and by the time evening comes I just want to plant my butt in a comfy spot and have a drink!

NOT TODAY

...I'm heading out right now...oh my wife isn't going to be pleased with YOU!!!

1st thing: Thank you for the compliment re: my coupe!

2nd thing: the t-bar install is effectively ENDED....grrhh...don't want to mess your thread with the details, so I'll post in a separte thread.

WIFE didn't even get a chance to complain...LOL, but I appreciate the offer to "take the bullet"...ha ha...

Didn’t get a chance to test a few things on the car. The weather is not cooperating today. Strong winds and smoky. I guess it’s a day to clean the interior.
