Time To Whip It Out!

Had a GREAT day ripping around in the Caravelle!
Man....I love this car!

I figured if you're whipping it out in public
Might as well go all out and whip it out in front of the cops!

At an abandoned building at the old Reese AFB up the road from my house. Nice, sunny 95 degree day today! :sunny:

Got rid of some pesky rubber off the back tires too..... :evil6:

Sweet!!
Looks badass without the trim rings.
I'm guessing you're liking it too...

Yeah, I'm not going back. With my new job came a nice raise, so I'm probably going with Wheel Vintique police rims in the future. Or a black center rim with aluminum outer... Crap, can't decide. :help:

I don't know if I've seen those..
Do they look like regular cop rims?

I did for awhile. Had a set on a '72 Satellite Custom I had for years, and when I bought the 5th I swapped rims. Put them back on the Satellite when I sold it to sweeten the deal for the guy buying it. They really looked good on it. I got the idea from a local owner of a frame/alignment shop who had a black 79 New Yorker with the 5th Ave package. Cop rims made his car look nasty (in a good way)!

Whipping it out when it's cold sucks.
That's why up here in the polar north you gotta whip it out while the gettin's good....so I took advantage of the nice weather the past weekend and "whipped it out."
And I wasn't the only one....
As you can see down the driveway...my buddy got his Runner out too.

I'll be getting the Aspen out tomorrow on my weekly visit to the Doctor but can't do the same with my Truck or Duster since I still have the boot/cast on my left foot and both of them are stick shifts.
