I have a set not-for-sale, but I do have the "blueprints" which CuddaZappa published on our Dippy.org forum...you'd have to get someone to make 'em for you...local tool&die shop might from iron/aluminum stock?

So you thinking about getting some made ? Firm feel kinda pricey in my book .

Yeah, i'd been thinking about it. Considering the cost of poly bushings though, unless there pretty close in price..i'll probably just stick with the poly. I've not heard enough of a difference between solid and poly to justify it.

I have a Firm Feel setup. All I need is a bit of encourement to get up and put ‘em on.

Another setup would be a very nice for my other car – but FFI’s cost too much for me currently.
I’d rather not go Poly – but don’t have any good reasons not to.

Anything has to be better than 40 year old rubber.

They could be made – if someone had “material” to work with.
Need to look at mine again, but I think there was a inner lip made on mine – that I don’t see in the picture.

If one had access to a metal lathe – then flattened the sides – they would be easy to make (note: I have no metal working experience – only wood working experience – so don’t take my word for it). I just hadn’t seen material around to work with that size, before.

Are they solid aluminum? I can see if I can get a hold of the girl whos dad works at the welding shop and see what he can do. Alternatively, the guy I took my heads to last, thats a machine shop..he does everything there. He may be able to do them. If they can, ill get a quote and pass it along

Those are solid aluminum Firm Feel units.
There are raised pads that locate the K-Frame.
These. are 1 5/16" tall.
That dimension can be changed, for example, increasing the height to 1 3/4" tall will give more clearance between the valve cover and power brake booster.. also giving more clearance from carb to hood..

I bought the poly bushings thru Summit for the K frame and torsion bars bushings for my 79 Cordoba for less than $100. Prothane is the brand.Plan to install them next month.Got to be better than the almost 40 old rubber. I did not get the rear bushings or spring isolators yet but they have them too.
