I really like those old full sized Plymouths- particularly the four door hardtops! They were just a very nicely styled and proportioned car. This one is a bit rough, but for $500 ;) !

I think we had the Dodge model w/440 retired cop cruiser. At another time I'd have been on my way to Arizona already

For $1,200 it better have some damn nice parts! The way it's sitting in the weeds, sunk into the mud, chances are most of the parts under the car and hood are rotted to nothing.

If it was only a 4-speed . . .

Also, if I was 7 states closer – he could pay me to tow it off for him . . . maybe. But, not for a 3000-mile round trip.

It looks like a long time ago, it was a very nice coupe. Nice color blue with upgraded trim, chrome sport mirrors and rally wheels. But, it has been sitting for a L O N G time. Check out the rust holes in the damaged side of the trunk lid, and the well developed rust where the paint was either scraped or flaked off in the ancient accident. Those frame rails have been sitting on dirt/mud for a long time, and with the back window gone for all those years, the interior, which looks like high backed buckets - maybe white, is probably trashed.

Not sure what this seller is thinking with his price. Yes the front clip could be used - maybe - but remember, it is a '76, so the fenders....humm. Looks like the passenger fender has rust at the bottom too, and the drivers side fender even has a good sized dent in it.

Yes, the grille looks nice still, but even the /6 has been sitting on the dirt for so long, I really don't see much that could be useful. At least not nearly $1200 useful.

They should have parted it out a long time ago. Sad.

It's advertised with "rebuilt engine and trans, new front end parts, radiator, tires, brakes", etc. Well, when I look at the miss-matched tires - blackwalls in back, scraped up whitewalls in front, and all half flat, it doesn't make me trust that anything is really as it is stated in this ad. I wish them well, but I think it's too high. It was also a nice looking car at one time - a long time ago. There is just something about these F bodies that is just so attractive. I would have loved to have owned this one new. Not so much now. That being said, this coupe would make a MUCH better parts car than the previous wrecked one. There is rust in the rear quarters and over the rear wheel, significant crash damage to the drivers door and quarter, but likely still many good parts, particularly if the mechanicals are actually rebuilt as stated. Might be able to make an offer if someone needed it, but seller seems firm on price (another turnoff).
