408 Stroker build who's keen to watch this one :)

I think Bruce told us the size.I have it written down as 209/217/112 and.496lift with 8.9Scr, 262/270 advertised. Howards 770055
Bruce is looking to figure out why his combo is so lazy off the line, with a 2200TC, a 904, and 3.23s.
It should run like a 340 except with waaay more bottom end, cuz that's just what 360s do.
I say show me the pressure, lol.

You and I are talking about two different things , I've been talking about this 408. Yes he should tune the carb he has on his 360 now.

Ok watch this, finally got camera set up and took some video, had to guess revs as could not see rev counter, looks like approximately 5000rpm

And here is a pic from of the vacuum gauge in gear at idle. Looks like 15.

Here is the full video if you want to see, I ran out of road where I was  Can anyone tell me from watching the revs pick up if thats what you would expect from a 360, it would of pulled well past 5000rpm! The take off is a bit slow as if I mash it will spin one wheel!

What about to do an 0-60 measurement on an 'abounded' piece of road? To calculate WHP with the weight of your car.

BTW. Nice looking car. Like the color. Keep going on!

220@.050" is not a lot of cam, especially for a stroker. It has an advertised RPM range of 1200-5700 for a stock stroke motor. 4" crank will move that range lower. Slap it together though and see how it drives. You may end up wanting to swap a factory torque converter back into the car though. The more torque and engine produces the higher the RPM a converter will stall at; which is what you don't want if you currently have a 2200 stall in the car.

One thing is for sure though, that motor is going to be a low RPM torque monster. Should make for some real fun street manors.
