I did driver's Ed in a full size 74 Buick, learn how to parallel park one of them and anything's a breeze.

I had drivers ed in a '72 four door Chevelle, ugly pumpkin color with a black vinyl roof and black interior and NO a/c. Ugly uncomfortable car.

All my schools drivers ed cars came from a (gag) Chevy dealer. There were a few of each 1980 Malibu, Chevette, and Citation. All base model 4 doors with zero options. The Chevette's didn't have power steering and even though they're small and light, was still a sweaty job in July, at 90 degrees, for parallel parking instruction.
Always thought that was over stressed. I mean, how often does anyone parallel park? I've probably had to parallel park maybe a whole half dozen times since then, he rants.:)

Mint condition, rust free, lol. (ad doesn't say that)

I learned how to parallel park in my mom’s ’75 New Yorker. Even took the driver’s test in same vehicle (with flying colors).
I agree. If you can park one of those hunks of iron, anything else is a breeze.

Learned my way around the wheel in both Mom's 76 Fury, and Dad's 73 Pinto. I liked the long nose, radio, and air conditioning of the Fury, but that stick shift in the Pinto was way to much fun! :)

My best friend at the time, took his drivers test in a 1970 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon. You know, one of these behemoth's. The parallel parking test must've been a bitch, lol!

A long, long time actually! lol. Yes, I do have a GF of over 15 years that's here quite often, we don't live together though. Talked about it but decided to not mess with a good thing.
Smart man!

Wished I'd thought faster , a ad on fb in the town I work at had a '98 Dodge truck forsale . 1 owner , 55k original, V-6, auto OD, $800. Don't need it , can't drive 2 , like car better . That truck was gone in 30 minutes.

...............and she's a smart woman. Of course, to be with someone like me, you may question how smart she really is, LOL! Yes, I am lucky and I never forget that.
I like when I don't have to be the smart ass.

Funny how that works, isn't it? Seems like I just bought my '96 Dakota a few years ago but I've owned it for 21 years. Doesn't feel all that long ago I bought the Aspen except it was 32 years ago already, yikes!
