CL ads that make you almost laugh

I like to have a GT as a daily driver and be that old guy that drives a Mustang, but that thing is fugly.
 
Thanks for bringing up the Le Car nightmare.
I was given a ticket to replace a starter on a mid ‘70’s Le Car. I had to double the number of metric tools to get the job done (which I've used sense). At first, I couldn’t access the starter bolts because the intake was in the way. Then I couldn’t access the intake off because a bracket was in the way. The bracket wouldn’t come off because the starter was in the way to access its rear bolt.
I was in a 3-way dead end – until I spent a money (I didn't have) on special tools (which I don’t think I’ve used sense).
So much for forgetting.

How was that , didn't Chrysler buy into Renault or the the other way around?
I seem to remember the Aclaim being Eagle.
 
IIRC, Chrysler bought Renault for the sole purpose of getting Jeep, because Renault had bought AMC which had the Jeep brand so then Renault had Jeep and Chrysler wanted it. It was something like that anyways. I remember the Renault Encore and Alliance. Both were pieces of you know what. I have to laugh, the Alliance was Motor Trend's 1983 Car of the Year. Seriously????????????????

BTW, I am an "old man" (54) that drives a Mustang for a summer daily driver. Would rather have a Challenger but even the oldest ones (2008?) are out of my price range. they seem to hold their value quite well so,,,,,,,,,to have a rear wheel drive 2 door car, it leaves one option, a Mustang.

Now that I'm retired I don't need to go in all weather so I'm thinking get rid of the 4x4 and go with the mustang.
 
Only thing I don't like about the Mustang, and it's an old(er) guy thing, is getting in and out of the darn thing. Low car, high and wide sills......................Oh, and also reaching the seat belt to put it on. Minor inconveniences though. Otherwise, and I hate to say it as it's not a Mopar, I love the car.

How would you know you even have a tire?
Being an auto tech who's mounted probably 1,000 tires in the past 30+years, I feel sorry for the poor guy that had to put those things on. Even with the latest and greatest tire machine it would suck SO much.
 
I think the worst thing is paying for them and being seen in that pile.
