Does Borgeson offer a box for Fifth Avenues?

I'm also curious about your own experience -- does the Borgeson box feel better, tighter, smoother, etc? More responsive?

I started in a somewhat spoiled of a point, that being: a fairly tight OEM power steering box (that was actually a FirmFeel unit), barely any sloop in the 12-o'clock position, the previously mentioned power steering pump pressure drop trick and basically all NEW components all around (part of the Coupe's rebuild).

Having said that, the Borgeson steering was that final element in terms of solidifying the driving & steering experience.

Look, my daily driver is a 2020 Subaru STI with aftermarket suspension tricks added (and a bit of a tune just for "shits and giggles" LOL), and that thing is the closest I have ever gotten a car to feel like it's following a rail!!!

In comparison to that, my Coupe being equipped with the large front sway bar, the oversized MP rear bar (1"), FirmFeel aftermarket torsion bars and the KONI adjustable shocks, basically turns that 'floating brick shit-house' feeling of a factory car on it's head and puts something together that can literally handle some corners (@Duke5A has the right tire & wheel combo setup for that purpose, while my jelly like 15" combo even at max PSI pressure still shows that sudden give-away of "oh boy, that's too far" when you try to get too aggressive with it).

Overall, it was money well spent.

...Now I'm driving a 318 with an Edelbrock intake & carb, MSD-6A box, 1970s Mopar electronic distributor with vacuum advance, an M/E Wagner PCV valve...and a new Spectra Premium gas tank with a Tanks, Inc. in-tank electric fuel pump. Also Holley Retrobright headlights and LED bulbs in the dashboard and door courtesy lights...

So there are a few points here that are very interesting to me:

1) M/E Wagner PCV - I have had this for a few years now and what a huge tuning aid this was...hopefully yours has been a great experience as well, how do you set yours up?

2) Spectra Premium gas tank w/ in-tank electric pump - oh sure, do tell more...part#, fit, etc...please!

3) Holley Retrobright headlights - how do you like 'em? I recall looking at them but they were somewhat pricey and seeing as I do not do enough seasonal driving I took a pass...but oh by, the factory stuff is ooohhh so dim and getting dimmer it would seem as yet another birthday sneaks up on ya!!! lol

Hey, coming from you I consider that high praise indeed! Thanks for the kind words, and I do enjoy build threads other guys have done, especially on Magnum swapping. Have to admit I admire their garages as much as their expertise, since I just have a dinky little two-car attached garage to my house, with lots of bikes, lawnmowers and gardening stuff. Doing big projects on the car is really a summer-only proposition. So before I can even get an engine stand for a Magnum, I have to figure out where I'll put it!

Have you done any build threads? I always learn something from your replies to other members' posts, but I don't think I've seen you upgrade something start to finish.

Thanks again for all your help here.

Yeah, I've got a few, lol. I did a big one not long after I started posting to the forum and did a yearly project log after that. I should probably drop these in my signature.
