Earlier this evening, The Great Outdoors was on one of those Encore channels. John Candy and Dan Akroyd are excellent in it.

Saw a classic last night, Porky's. Hadn't seen it in years, still just as funny as ever.

Couldn't find a decent clip of the principles office scene. My gut hurts from laughing so hard everytime I see it! "I'm not going to let him slip through my fingers again" LOL

For C-body fans, check out, "Charlie Varrick." You can catch it on Watch TCM (Turner Classic Movies' streaming channel). And even without the Mopars, it's pretty good. There are Dodge police cruisers, an A-100 and--best of all--a fabulous '67 Imp that duels with Walter Matthau's Varrick character, who is in a crop duster.

The YT video contains spoilers.

Watched some cheese last night, this is Wisconsin after all:D. Xanadu was on. Cheesy yes, but I like it. When it came out I was 16 and I think every guy I knew went to see it, mainly for one reason,,,,,,,,,,,,,Olivia Newton-John (drool). The music is good also with ELO and Gene Kelly could still move like he was 20 years old yet, even though he was in his late 60's at the time.

Ya i remember seeing it with my girl friend at the time, I talked about liking it and she got pissed? She said the music sucked, I said I hadn't noticed.

Mr. Right
I liked this quirky movie... the dialogue, the dry wit, Anna Kendrick & Sam Rockwell had good chemistry.

Watched an old classic last night, My Cousin Vinny. Still as funny as the first time I saw it way back when. It was on IFC so that means commercials but, they don't "edit for television". Best way to ruin a good movie is edit it for TV.
Hard to believe this movie is 27 years old. Dang.

LOL, you've got mud in your tires.
Let me aks you something, how the f*** do you get mud INTO the tires?
Joe Pesci and Marissa Tomei were the perfect choices for those characters.

"It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" is on TCM right now. Good movie, "all-star cast" and lots of Mopar's as an added bonus.

It is one of those types of movies, isn't it? The kind that just aren't made anymore. Love the cameo's, like The Three Stooges as firemen, Jack Benny, etc........

Even Jimmy Durante in the very beginning as he "Just sailed on out there!" off a cliff in a black and white '57 Ford.

Of all the cars, I'll take the red Dodge convertible catching air and dueling with a '61 Impala!

Yikes, I wouldn't have wanted to be the stunt driver in either one of those two cars in that scene!

It's one movie I've never cared for, slapstick goes Hollywood.
