    That's awesome....and rare.
At my shop the joke is....if a guy collapses you hide the body instead of calling 911 so you don't stop production.

Well first it snowed for most of the night.
Then it turned to rain and made a lovely soup.
Then the temp dropped to around 25°F
So now everything has a beautiful ice crust on it.
    It's like a city size skating rink...awesome!
    Don't ya just love winter?

Truly one of the most suck ass mornings so far this winter.
Rained, then froze...my doors were all frozen solid.
I always leave the rear passenger unlocked...
Pried that open, climbed into the front seat and started the Fifth.
Around fifteen minutes of heat on full tilt and I managed to get the drivers door open so I could get out and begin chiseling the iceberg off my windshield and door windows.
Of course there's an eavestrough that dumps water out right where I park so I got to back out of a skating rink...now over the course of the day the temperature is supposed to plummet so no hope of any melting....and then the joy of driving into work on a rink surrounded by idiots who can't drive in good weather yet alone this crap......
I hate winter the best of years...but this one truly sucks!

I bet you don't forget to plug in your block heater at night! Will anything crank w/o one? 80/100 gear oil must be like tar in the diff.'s!

A balmy -3F this morning. Wind chill advisory has us getting to -45F wind chills til 7:00 tonight.

I feel bad for a co-worker with an older 6.5L GM. He'll sit in the parking lot this afternoon and grind a little while before the damn thing decides to fire.

When I drove my 4speed Ramcharger in weather like this, I'd put the transfer case in neutral and put the trans in gear to get the 80/90 warmed up. Damn near impossible to shift if I didn't.

That's what I figured! Before I got hurt, I was starting a business working on Parochial School Busses. The standards & regulations are unlike any other in the industry. Anyways, I had to change a center section in a Rockwell rear end outside in the middle of winter. Just like doing an 8 3/4" only MUCH larger & heavier. It took less time to R/R the diff than it did to fill it up with lube. My 5 gal manual pump wouldn't even prime! I ended up heating up lube under my hood with the engine running to get the stuff to pour! Stuff was almost like trying to pump peanut butter! Bbbrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!
