It’s been a long winter. Wish it was time to race. Racing starts at the end of May so I had to watch a few videos from last year.

Engine is back in car. Few more things to bolt up but the end is near.

I even had my wife turning some wrenches

It's getting closer. I've got the NHRA season opener in Pomona on in the living room. It's not live so, not sure exactly when it was run (yesterday maybe?). One thing about drag racing. Listening to it is almost as good as actually watching it, at least when the announcers STFU so you can hear the cars

I ordered new front springs for my shocks. I’m going to a lighter spring to hopefully get more front end travel.
I ordered from summit this morning. Probably get them in 7-10 days

PrincessAuto workbench? If so, do you like it? Was going to buy, but the CanadianTire Maximum with the steel pegboard caught my eye instead.

not a princess auto bench. i had a buddy that worked at a potash mine and they were remodeling there so he asked if i wanted it. it's heavy gauge steel that is screwed onto the wood frame

New springs are installed. I did it last night quickly.

Only thing on the list to buy is new slicks. After buying those, I’m 100% ready to race.

Sorry to hear about the season. You've done a ton of work on her, as well.

I live in Oklahoma City, and I hear 'em still racing at night . . .

Finally got it running on methanol today. Went smoothly. Didn’t have to do any major adjustments so I’m pleased. Ready to hit the track in 2021!! Lol.

Your car also changed color in the past month. I like it!

I checked my "local" track over in Kaukauna (Wisconsin International Raceway, about 90 miles ESE of here) and they opened as of June 5th for their normal schedule. There's a Covid-19 waiver form a person has to sign before racing, and I assume spectating as well. It's basically says you are not ill at the time and know the risks you may be taking, so nobody can sue the track if they end up getting sick. Whatever it takes to race, works for me!
