this is what i'm busy with

1st pass off trailer was 11.00.
2nd pass i got no time slip as timing system failed.
3rd pass was 11.05
4th pass was the best......10.99
i wanted to see a 10 second time slip and i got it.
no traction compound as it was street legals.
defiantly need to do front shock adjustments. zero movement at all.
nothing broke, ran good
not bad for a stock bottom end 360'' with good heads and a solid flat tappet cam
 
Good mph...must be giving up something with the large slicks or converter. Your slow by 10 miles per hour for 10.0 flat. What's your rpm in the lights?
Must 60 great!
 
there is no way i'll ever run a 10.0 with this bottom end. it will take a honest 550 + HP to run that fast here. i'm shooting for 10.80's with this engine.
it's the converter that i know nothing about. i borrowed it so i could make a few passes this year. it was behind a 820 HP W8 engine.
 
A good converter is everything, I've got a fresh turbo Action 3800 in my shop that would probably work great for you. I'm going to use in on my low compression 440.
 
i have another converter to try if i want too. i have gone through a few converters in my black R/T. finally i got a good one and it was night and day difference.
 
I do 11.8 and I'm tickled to death!
