It’s that time of year that depression really sets in. The last picture tells the story!! Lol
Actually it’s not that bad. 2019 was a good year. I got my car running and made a few passes down the 1/4 mile. Can’t complain about that. It’s been 6 years since I have been down the track, felt really good to get out there.
Selling my black R/T was hard to do. Buying this Volare site unseen was a huge risk. In the end it turned out good.

Since the engine is out of car, I will fire it up on engine run stand. Since I had the oil pan off, It will be nice to make sure there is no leaks.
I got to thinking it would also be a good time to change front springs. The front suspension needs a bit more movement. There are a bit stiff. They are 350 and I think I want to try 225-250 springs.

i can't go any bigger on the cam. piston to valve clearance is the limiting factor. i already cut bigger valve pockets in pistons to make this cam work.

What’s taking so long? I guess I shouldn’t say anything, my 360” took 3 years to build.

Ahh...the head-work. I have a bunch of porting to get done, the shop I work with has a SF-300, so we plan on getting a few runs just to see how the different porting stages impact the airflow.

Sooo....that needs time...and well, normal life does too...LOL, I need to get back into the workshop on the weekends and start pushing through this, that's what made it possible to get my coupe originally done in the first place, because that wasn't any sort of quick project!
