Yeah .. they do look like beer cans .. but it was a daughter, mom .. there is a hard right turn onto that bridge and the teen driver panicked and hit the wrong pedal(so they say). The other side of the bridge has a variety store and kids hang out at the bridge, so I don't doubt the beer cans .. just not from the driver(s)

That's why I said "IF". Always try not to judge without all the information. I can understand someone just learning to drive having a mishap. We were all new drivers at some point.

I've never understood the 'wrong pedal' excuse in a automatic car.
There are only 2 pedals and the brake is NEVER on the right hand side.

Then most people have 2 feet also.
Always could use the other foot if needed.

Must be from coming from a time where you drove go carts long before a car.

In an automatic car, I've always used my right foot for go, my left foot for whoa. Seems kind of stupid not to (IMO).
