She's lucky she didn't get air on the bridge, like this old pic.

Yeah .. they do look like beer cans .. but it was a daughter, mom .. there is a hard right turn onto that bridge and the teen driver panicked and hit the wrong pedal(so they say). The other side of the bridge has a variety store and kids hang out at the bridge, so I don't doubt the beer cans .. just not from the driver(s)

I've never understood the 'wrong pedal' excuse in a automatic car.
There are only 2 pedals and the brake is NEVER on the right hand side.
Then most people have 2 feet also.
Always could use the other foot if needed.
Must be from coming from a time where you drove go carts long before a car.
Thought it was QUICK Qwik QuackWasn't that the excuse for this?
Hit the wrong pedal?

She hit the bridge at 30mph and was too tall too, besides being a 'little' over 6 tons. That crunching tells you it's all good.
"I was just doing what my NAV system told me to do" lol.
It's even worse than that.I think you just nailed it.

I just had 2 pedals and one speed......fast.The go-kart I drove had three pedals too. gas, brake and clutch and 6 forwards...
