We need to get her on our Forums.
I asked her permission to use her photos and sent her a link to the forum. Maybe we’ll get a new member

We are informed by a respected United Kingdom consultant that the preferred term is 'pre-loved car dismantling emporium.'

EXACTLY! I'm an auto tech and "watch and ask questions" I don't mind so much, it's the ones where they worked on it first and got it so ef'd up you have to spend an hour undoing what they did and then find the real problem. We're only $85/hr though.
Add one to that sign. $500/hr if Autozone scanned the codes and sold you "exactly what you need" with absolutely NO diagnosis. Note to Autozone: An oxygen sensor code is RARELY the oxygen sensor itself (as one example of many).

I don't know how many times people have come in with parts that Autozone sold them, wanting them installed. "Do you want the Autozone parts thrown at it or would you like it diagnosed and the REAL problem fixed?" I estimate probably on at least 80% of them, the parts they brought are NOT what is actually wrong. I guess once in a great while they guess right.

“New wiper blades? Is this for a 4 or 6 cylinder engine?”
Need a transfer case shift motor for a 2008 (fill in the blank truck). "Two or four wheel drive?". Need a condensor for a (fill in the blank again). "With or without A/C?" Yes, I have been asked both those questions. o_O

LOL, really want to mess with the young guy behind the counter? Ask if they can get a water pump to fit a '71 Super Beetle.:p

The body work is what blew me away. Seemingly perfect preparation on the metal. I’ve seen this done poorly where the metal is obviously swirled when light hits it but, this was particularly well done.

Do you have a water pump for a 71 Super beetle? No but I can have it in the morning.

Call em and tell them you need a water pump gasket for a Toyota Tacoma and have them describe what the gasket looks like; you know, so you know you’re getting the right one...

Have to admit, I've noticed the shape of those gaskets were bit suggestive, lol! Might want to see a doctor about that bend.;)

Doctor, Director; tomato, tomato
someone’s going to want to see it, that’s for sure, lol
Going to go wash the car now. Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals is going on just a couple miles from my house.
See if they have any random FMJs around.
