That "warm" weather is headed this way, at long last. Another COLD one today, think it got all the way up to 23, which ironically is the normal LOW.

Well the weather guessers have missed again. It's all north of me.

Yes it is north of you, started snowing here about an hour ago. Go 180 miles due east of St Paul on your map, and that's where I'm at. No idea how much it's supposed to be but hopefully it's like the last couple snows, which were about an inch or so each.

We got rain and it washed out the ice roads.

Made it into Dec, now I need to get out of this month.
After that only 4 months till nicer weather.

Rain mostly here, some snow expected this weekend. Not looking forward to it. we had some small events already this year. We usually don`t get any until late Dec or early Jan.

We USULLY don't get snow until mid December but this year is not usual. Saturday night we got 3" of heavy, wet stuff and another 1/2" last night. Today,,,,,,it's just cold, the kind that goes right through you.

It may be cold, dark and wet, I didn't get a tornado or earthquake.

I thought that on the way to work this morning while they were talking about 22 tornadoes in Illinois (not sure where, I assume southern Illinois) and here we are with 3-4" of fresh snow and, at 7am, 16 degrees. What a difference 300 or 400 miles makes.

It appears we will FINALLY get a regular freaking tropical heat wave. Enough of this highs in the teens and lows of zero or below, it's -6(f) this morning, in early December crap.

Here's some typical bleeped up Wisconsin weather. Wednesday night we got 3" of snow, then it started to rain about 6am Thursday morning (can you say slush and drive to work at a max speed of 40 mph?), and kept raining all day and last night (close to 2") so all the snow melted(!) When I got up this morning at 5:30am, it was 46 degrees but then it got colder, and colder and the north wind kicked in at 10-20mph. Twelve hours later at 5:30 this evening, it was down to 19 degrees. The forecast continues the trend, cold then warm (for this time of year), back to very cold, then warm again...............Downside is, anything that was wet this morning is frozen solid now.

Well I can't complain about the weather today, it was 40 degrees at 3 pm this afternoon picking up the boy from school. It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow, I think of all the New Year's that started out with -25.

If January was like this all the time, it wouldn't be so bad. Sunny and clear, no wind and upper 30's today, low 40's tomorrow(!!!!!) Be afraid, very afraid.

Would have loved to except,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the asphalt roads look like concrete with all the salt, not to mention the sand but it was sunny and 45 degrees. Think I took ten pounds of salt dust off my Dakota (roads have been dry) with a car duster this morning.

Happy time may be short, 3-5" of wet snow predicted tonight followed by sleet and/or rain tomorrow morning. Oh joy of joys..........
