Rear Shackle Geometry - how are you adjusting it?

Folks! Alright...so my Coupe is no drag racing machine, however proper setup should never be lost on anyone, so I've started to look at the leaf-spring geometry seeing that last time out at the track I was showing dismal 60' times and the video of car launching showed barely any chassis...

Carter TQ - 9810 electric choke

Folks! If any of you are committed to staying with the Carter TQ carb, here is a decently priced 9810s model...that's the GM linkage EGR version, easy to adapt any way for Mopar use. Anyways...the 9800 series carbs use the electric choke that's attached to the carb body, which basically frees...

Remote oil filter installs - who's got what???

Folks! Alright...my oil filter replacement "events" are a freaking major PITA these days. The 1-7/8" TTIs primary tubes basically remove any and all room I had left between the oil filter and the header tube. This means I also had to move from a WIX 51068 (4.4" tall) filter to the shorter 51085...

SB head - DIY porting info

There is a nice thread on FABO forum about what a DIY head porting job could net you in terms of flow improvements. Good read, not too scary, and remember: it helps to get with a shop that understands the topics (multi-angle valve jobs, deshrouding, etc.) so that if you are going to pursue...

The trouble with the FF Torsion bars...

So after literally several years of corresponding back'n'forth with Matt@FirmFeel (as in circa 2015) my new torsions bars finally showed up back in May, 2023. Frank took over at FF, and they made a real push to get these out the door. Granted, it was a limitted run of about 10 sets, but having...

    T-bars: anchors...is there a "more" correct install?

So here is the weird thing: the t-bar hex end anchors have a visible assymetric shape to the anchor "ears" that the adjuster bolt itself hooks into (see 1st pic). It would appear that one side is pretty flat, while the other side has a rounded cut-out, the implication here being (my thinking)...

2023 - Woodward - sort of "our thing"...

Ohhh...guess whom I met up with last night??? Took a little longer to make it over to Woodward at Donut Cutters b/c of the dreaded cross-border bridge crossing, nothing beats the joy of getting stuck between semis and literally going NOWHERE!!!...but I digress. Picked up a buddy of mine in...

    Utter defeat....why, why, why?

So I'm stumped (at the moment) by this outcome: went to drop the newly finished W2 stroker motor into the coupe...tried no less than three separate times, each time I have the converter hub hanging up on the crank (meaning the block seems to lack clearance for the converter and crank to mesh...

Factory Parts Book => 82-88 PDFs

Folks! I have a complete Mopar e-fiche for '81 to '09 model years here, these would be the dealer 'Parts Book' publications. Specifically relevant to us though are the F/M/J-body materials...and since it's a pretty steady topic of discussion I thought I'd toss the PDFs out there (hosted on my...

Happy Holidays and 2022 New Year!

Engine mount gutting - is there an easy way?

LOL...as the title says: is there any easy way to do this? These are old mounts, I figured I would try out POLY engine mount bushings for the stroker build and really didn't want to hack up my very nice factory setups that have all of 10 seasons of summer driving on them. Anyways, so I dug...

FOR SALE Window Electric Switches - FREE

I was putting some stuff away last night and realized I have three (of four) door window arm rest assemblies here. The plastic is nice, not cracked, the vinyl foam padding is good too, no cracks either, but I figured the switches themselves may be useful to someone. If you want these let me...

FOR SALE K-frame ISO Biscuits - NOS rubber

So I've had these sitting in a box for a while now. I have gone the iron/aluminum/poly route a long time ago. Given that, I figured these may be worthwhile for someone to pick up if you are not quite ready to head down that aftermarket upgrade path. Alright, so what's in the package: 1)...

    408 W2 Stroker Build

Alright folks...time has come to start wrenching away on this thing, otherwise before you know it the winter is over and than what??? LOL So here is my plan: I'm going to try to do a whole bunch of videos as the work progresses. You can't capture it all in video format though, so photos will...

TTI W2 1-7/8" primary tubes in our rides?

Folks, I'm about to plunk a boat-load of cash on these headers...part of my stroker W2 build. Was originaly going to stay with 1-5/8" primary tubes but vast majority of advice I received suggested that I simply move-on to the bigger tubes...and well, given the price these things fetch I'm not...

WANTED '84 and up wiper linkage

I'm looking for the complete wiper linkage assembly (everything between the wiper arm motor and wiper arm itself) from a M-body years '84 onwards. Basically, if the parts/donor car has the wiper motor which is at 90-deg angle and does NOT protrude out into the engine bay, but instead tucks-in...

Disaster strikes...grrhh...that plastic wiper arm thingy!!!

So I nearly finished the conversion of the old-style wiper motor to the later 90-deg ones, you know, where the wiper motor body is tucked into the firewall recess as opposed to protruding out into the engine bay. I previously had a NOS wiper motor, looked great, but every time I wanted to pull...

WANTED '87 and up wiper motor wiring plug

Looking to convert my '80 motor wiring to do '87 and later (as best as I can tell, it is the motor which sits in the firewall bump as opposed to the one that protrudes OUT into the engine bay). The wiring harness plug will fit into this motor plug: ...and the NEW wiper motor is like this one:
