My first time down the strip I was amazed how much wider the track looked than from the stands.

I can see this can be addictive. My best rt was .088. I lost in the 2nd round to a guy that ran a rt of .001 fun fun fun. I shifted at 5000, didn't want to push it to hard, since I had to drive 1.5 hours back home! My speed was actually 97.3 on that best run.

Started prepping the 3.55 s.g. Hope to have it installed in a few days. Anyone know which gear to use in the transmission for the speedometer to be right?

Ran Modoba today with the 3.55 sure grip. Could not get it to hook up. Ran a best of 13.880@97.52

Thanks. I went with the old style gear with the long shaft, and bought a new cable from cruise control to trans. that has a female nut on both ends. I couldn't find the right gear for my speedo cable. That sight didn't have a gear with enough teeth.

Did a mpg check today. average of 15mpg. It's better than I expected. That's a combination city cruise and some hi-way and and occasional mashing of the right pedal of course!

15mpg is great, that's probably twice what my tired 318 gets at about a fourth of your HP lol.
