Thanks Brem., you made me laugh! I got the primer sanded tonight, I might shoot the paint tomorrow after church.

Your kicking ass dude, cant wait to see pics of the red engine compartment, are you using base clear or single stage.

You should black out behind where the grille will be on the radiator support. That is the way it was done at the factory on every car except black and dark blue. Usually a satin black is used.

actually, mine was not black, it was red from the factory. the grill area is such that you cant really see in there any way. i might do it satin black there anyway....less wet sanding!

Starting to put things back....oh what fun to install the brake booster !!

Well, got more stuff installed today. This is the fun part. I tried very hard to save and label all the little pieces, and I still misplaced the little white tee for the washer fluid. The garage is a disaster....maybe it'll turn up as I clean up the mess.lol!

haha. Those little white T's are a precious item. The only thing they like doing more than moving washer fluid is breaking into pieces. I've got my own little stash tucked away in case I have any oopsies in the future.

Picked up my new transmission today. It's a built 904, cheetah valve body, and a 2000-2200 stall converter. Got it installed tonight. Might drop engine in tomorrow if I have time. Will post pics tomorrow. PS Do the tranny lines go between the k-member engine mount and the oil pan, or through the k-member engine mount?
